Layla's spoken word!
Layla is a 17-year-old North Philadelphia native who attends Dobbins High School and has been a member of the Teen Tech Center for the past two years.
"I was inspired to write this poem based on the hardships of becoming a woman in today's society and to advocate for woman of all ages. No matter the struggles and hardships that woman may face, we are all united." - Layla.
This piece won The Judges Choice Award in the Narrative Video section for The Clubhouse Networks Reach Festival.
