Youth Programs

Get ready for a brand new gymnastics league coming to the region! This league is designed for gymnasts to participate in fun, friendly meets with other YMCA branches. This is not a travelling team or advanced competitive gymnastics.

We're excited to offer martial arts programs at the Y! Get ready to enroll your kids in SaengJon JiHye KGD! This American-style martial arts practice derives from Korean Kun Gek Do and is infused with techniques from Muay Thai, Okinawan Karate Do, Military Martial Arts, and more!

Exposing your children to different activities and subjects early on can help them discover their interests and develop knowledge and skills. Learn how arts, music and science programs for kids can benefit their well-being and strengthen their love for learning.

We're teaming up with the Philadelphia Union to bring Union Rec soccer to Media! Union Rec is a recreational program that provides girls and boys with a fun, affordable, local neighborhood soccer experience. 

We're hosting an eight-week culinary course with our partners at the City of Camden and Rutgers University Camden! This course teaches youth essential culinary skills while focusing on food safety.

Become part of our brand new basketball league at the Y to improve your skills, build confidence, and compete against other Y athletes! Our City Basketball League will take place at our Christian Street, Columbia North, and West Philadelphia YMCA branches.

Is your teen interested in the media or journalism fields? The Camden Youth News Network is a free hands-on learning program focused on creativity, advertising, journalism, and preparing participants for a future in these career fields. This program is open to teens ages 13-18. 

History was made this past weekend as the Greater Philadelphia YMCA hosted the first-ever YMCA Pennsylvania Gymnastics State Camp at International Gymnastics Camp in Stroudsburg, PA.
