Community Programs

Since 1854, the Greater Philadelphia YMCA has been a constant in this region; a place to learn to swim, find child care, stay active, and belong. Today it serves more than 240,000 people a year and does not turn people away regardless of their ability to pay. The Y is for all.

As students prepare to head back to school, many families face challenges that go beyond school supplies. Everyday personal care items are essential for helping children feel confident, comfortable, and ready to learn.

Give back to neighbors in need! We're hosting a food donation drive to support the Ardmore Food Pantry. Consider donating food, toiletries, diapers, or other items in need from the list below.

Each school year, students from across the region join our Youth Civic Engagement programs including Youth and Government, a student-run, student-led model state government experience.

Join us for a night of fun at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs vs. Buffalo Bisons baseball game! All proceeds from this event will help more children experience the fun at Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA's Summer Camp through our Financial Assistance Program!

Join our amazing team of lifeguards! We have lifeguard openings across the association! You can take a lifeguard certification class at one of our locations below and apply for a lifeguard position near you! 

Celebrate every day kindness in our community! The Kindness Club at the Y recognizes members who go above and beyond to show care, empathy, and inclusion.

Do you have a green thumb? Join our garden volunteer group: Rocky Run Roots! This group meets each week to help plant, water, weed, harvest, and treat the plants in our community garden and the flowers on our property.
