Community Programs

We're inviting our Active Older Adult community (ages 55+) to join our weekly discussion group at the Y. This group is facilitated by Intercommunity Action Certified Peer Specialist, Jim McCabe. Meetings are open to the community. The group is free and registration is not required.

March is National Nutrition Month and we're celebrating by kicking off an eight-week cooking course with the City of Camden and Rutgers University Camden!

Join our amazing team of lifeguards!We have lifeguard openings across the association! You can take a certification course at one of our locations below and apply for a lifeguard position near you! 

Do you have a green thumb? Join our Community Garden volunteer group! Our NEW Garden Club is coming soon! We're looking for volunteers to help us plant, water, weed, and harvest our community garden and maintain our beautiful flowers.

Let joy and togetherness shine this season! During the winter season we know some of our members and neighbors experience more difficult times. Colder temperatures, physical and emotional health challenges, social isolation, and increased stress can impact our well-being.

The Y is a place for everyone to connect to healthier lives.  We're more than just a gym. We offer health support groups for our members and community to connect with other people dealing with similar experiences.

Did you know we host a Special Olympics Swim Team? This team offers a way for kids and teens (ages 8+) with special needs to be included in organized swimming and have the opportunity to compete. This program is open to members and non-members. 

Calling all choral community members! Join our new group! We're hosting a Senior Singing Group at the Y! Join today to learn new songs, meet new people, and become a founding member of our new singing group!
