The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters girls and boys gymnastics teams demonstrated their exceptional skills and dedication in their recent competitions, leaving their mark with impressive performances.
Girls Gymnastics Team at the 2023 West Chester Fall Fling (November 18th, 2023):
The girls' team continued to make waves in the gymnastics world as they competed at the West Chester Fall Fling hosted by West Chester University's gymnastics team. The level 5 and level 8 teams displayed exceptional teamwork and individual talent, earning them the coveted first-place spot. Additionally, the Xcel Gold team and level 7 gymnasts showcased their skills, securing a well-deserved second place as a team.
Boys Gymnastics Team at the Tim Weaver Battlefield Invitational (November 19th, 2023):
The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters boys gymnastics team had a remarkable start to their season at the Tim Weaver Battlefield Invitational hosted by Hanover YMCA at the York Expo Center. In particular, the level 3 D1 team secured a well-deserved 3rd place as a team. Among the individual achievements, Jason Raysor from the level 4 D1 team stood out, winning two events and the All-Around competition.
Next up for the Willow Grove YMCA Twisters, they are set to compete at the Liberty Cup, scheduled for December 1-3, held at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. Additionally, the EPYGGL Showcase awaits them at the Quakertown Branch of YMCA of Bucks & Hunterdon Counties.

Mubarak has over two decades of expertise in gymnastics and acrobatics. He coaches young athletes to achieve their dreams while having fun in the sport. His career includes tenure as a stuntman at Walt Disney World Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Show, and a key role in winning the 2005 NCAA Gymnastics Team Championship for the University of Oklahoma. Mubarak is a graduate in Political Science, and he enjoys motorsports and quality time with his family.
