Teams and Clubs

Last month, 17 gymnasts from the Phoenixville YMCA Gymnastics team competed against over 500 gymnasts from private clubs at the USAG Xcel State Championships. Collectively, the gymnasts won an impressive 43 individual and all-around medals.

The Phoenixville Gymnastics team had a very successful league championships meet over the weekend of April 13th and 14th. Over 350 gymnasts from several local YMCAs competed. The  Level 8 gymnasts won the team title.

Last week, some of our swim team members traveled down to the YMCA Short Course National Championships, held in Greensboro, NC.  Congratulations to all 10 individual qualifiers that PAY had this 2023-2024 Winter Short Course Season:

Both our girls teams and boys teams had full meet performances that finished in the top 10 in the state of Pennsylvania for YMCA Swimming. The girls team finished 9th and the boys team finished 8th! Every relay team finished in the top 10 as well!

Congratulations to our gymnastics team for an amazing performance! Our Haverford YMCA gymnastics team competed at the League Championship last weekend. For the first time all season, gymnasts at each level had the opportunity to contribute to the overall team score for a chance to help

The Phoenixville Y Gymnastics Team hosted a home meet during the month of March. The meet featured over 350 gymnasts from 5 local YMCAs. The highlight of the meet was the session featuring four graduating seniors: Bridey Misson, Nia Alleyne, Frankie Vitelli, and Katie Ferretti.

The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters Level 8 Team delivered an outstanding performance at the USA Gymnastics Level 8 State Championships held at the Miller Center Lewisburg YMCA. The team showcased exceptional talent while securing multiple top placements and state titles.
