The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters boys gymnastics team showcased their talent and determination at the USA Gymnastics Pennsylvania State Championships held at the Miller Center at the Lewisburg YMCA on March 16th and 17th. The team's outstanding performance resulted in two individual event titles and two top 5 team placements.
In Level 3 D1 competition, the team secured a commendable 4th place finish. Luca Sarullo demonstrated exceptional skill, earning 3rd place on Floor. Benjamin Coleman displayed remarkable prowess, claiming the state championship title on Floor.
The Level 3 D2 team also exhibited remarkable skill, securing a 5th place team finish. Nick Mapp demonstrated unparalleled excellence, clinching the state championship title on Mushroom and also securing 3rd place on Parallel Bars. Zayn Jones showcased his talent, earning 3rd place on Vault. Artur Baghdasaryan's outstanding performance earned him 3rd place on Floor, Rings, and High Bar.
Additionally, in Level 5 D1 competition, Jason Raysor delivered a stellar performance, earning 2nd place on Floor, 2nd place on Rings, and 3rd place on High Bar. Raysor's exceptional performance has qualified him to compete at the Region 7 Championships scheduled for April 4-6 in Landover, Maryland.
The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters boys gymnastics team continues to uphold their tradition of excellence, demonstrating dedication, skill, and sportsmanship at every competition.

Mubarak has over two decades of expertise in gymnastics and acrobatics. He coaches young athletes to achieve their dreams while having fun in the sport. His career includes tenure as a stuntman at Walt Disney World Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Show, and a key role in winning the 2005 NCAA Gymnastics Team Championship for the University of Oklahoma. Mubarak graduated with a degree in Political Science, and he enjoys motorsports and quality time with his family.
