The Willow Grove YMCA Twisters boys gymnastics team showcased their skills at the KMC Mushroom Classic held on March 2-3 in Kennett Square, PA at KMC Gymnastics & Dance. This competition marked the boys team's final regular-season event before gearing up for the Pennsylvania State Championships in Lewisburg on March 15-17.
In a display of exceptional teamwork, the Level 3 D1 boys clinched the first-place team victory. Led by standout performances from Ian Pack, Benjamin Coleman, Luca Sarullo, Michael Bullick, and Jayden Silva, the team performed well on various apparatuses, securing top placements in Floor, Vault, High Bar, Parallel Bars, and Pommels.
Not to be outdone, the Level 3 D2 boys also delivered an impressive performance, earning the second-place team title. Zayn Jones led the charge with stellar routines, claiming top honors in Floor, Vault, and High Bar, supported by strong performances from Levi Plohocky, Caleb Plohocky, Artur Baghdasaryan, Fitz Wood, Nick Mapp, Ciaran Diskin, Andrew Dohan, Grayson Yokoi, and Carter Carver.
Additionally, in the Level 5 D1 category, Jason Raysor showcased his skills with a remarkable performance, securing top placements in Vault, Rings, All-Around, Floor, and Pommels, further solidifying the team's success.
With their outstanding performance at the KMC Mushroom Classic, the Willow Grove YMCA Twisters boys gymnastics team has set the stage for a promising postseason ahead.

Mubarak has over two decades of expertise in gymnastics and acrobatics. He coaches young athletes to achieve their dreams while having fun in the sport. His career includes tenure as a stuntman at Walt Disney World Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular Show, and a key role in winning the 2005 NCAA Gymnastics Team Championship for the University of Oklahoma. Mubarak graduated with a degree in Political Science, and he enjoys motorsports and quality time with his family.
