This past weekend, 28 gymnasts from the Phoenixville YMCA gymnastics team competed at the Pink Invitational held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Over 3,500 gymnasts competed and raised funds this year for Unite for HER. 100% of the Pink Invitational profits benefit the Unite for HER Wellness Program supporting breast cancer and ovarian cancer patients across the country.
The gymnasts from Phoenixville had an impressive showing at the competition with 8 individual event titles, 1 all-around title, and 15 gymnasts placing in the top 3 for individual events and all-around. The Excel Platinum team finished 2nd and the excel Diamond team finished 3rd.
