Put on those dancing shoes and get ready for our next recital program!

We offer recital program options for kids and teens ages 3 - 17, and all experience levels are welcome. This recital track includes 30 classes, a dress rehearsal, and a recital. Costumes are included in the program price. Shoes and tights should be provided by the parent/guardian. 

Registration is required. Programs are open to members and non-members.

All programs will be held at the Northeast Family YMCA.

When:

Registration is now open! Programs will run September 2024 - May 2025.

Available Programs:

All program classes will be held on Saturdays beginning September 28, 2024 and will run through mid-May 2025.

9 AM - Hip Hop with Ms. Anne Margaret

10 AM - Ballet & Tap with Ms. Nancy

11 AM - Ballet with Ms. Anne Margaret

12 PM - Tap with Ms. Nancy

12 PM - Ballet with Ms. Anne Margaret

1 PM - Hip Hop with Ms. Anne Margaret

Recital Program Cost:

Save by registering your child for more than one style of dance; the more classes they take the more you save! Members can take advantage of great discounts, too!

A $50 non-refundable registration fee is due at sign up. Participants will be billed monthly on the first Friday of each month from October to March.

Member Pricing:

  • 1 Class Registration - $402
  • 2 Classes - $642
  • 3 Classes - $804

Non-Member Pricing:

  • 1 Class Registration - $603
  • 2 Classes - $963
  • 3 Classes - $1,206

Meet our Director

Nancy Permsap has been the director of the Children’s Dance Program of the Northeast Family YMCA since the program began in 1969 and has spent her entire dance career there.

Over the years, she has taught everything from acrobatics and jazz to ballet and baton twirling, but her tap classes have always been a staple - and favorite - from the early days to today. In May 2023, the dance program celebrated its 50th Spring Recital under her helm.
