In partnership with The Clubhouse Network and Best Buy, the Columbia North YMCA hosts a Teen Tech Center (TTC) that provides teens unparalleled access to cutting-edge technology, resources, and training to make, create, and innovate. We are always searching for mentors and peers who inspire new passions and possibilities for futures through technology. Through the TTC, we provide technical training and college guidance support, opening doors to opportunities after high school.
Demography shouldn’t define destiny. We see a future in which every young person has the technology, training, and mentorship to achieve their potential. Joining over 100+ Centers around the country, the Columbia North YMCA Teen Tech Center is dedicated to providing a safe space for local teens to inspire new passions and possibilities.
Center Details
Our Best Buy Teen Tech Center is a place where teens can develop skills through hands-on activities that explore their interests in programming, film-making, music production, and design. The tech center is open to all teens ages 13 through 19 years old.

How to get involved!
Access to the tech center is free to all teens in the community. Visitors are encouraged to sign in for each visit. No registration is necessary.
No membership is needed for teens to access the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at the Columbia North Y. For non-members, please let the front desk know you are visiting the tech center, and they can direct you to the entrance.

Frequently Asked Questions
No, visitors at the Teen Tech Center are not permitted to use the gym or other facilities at the Y outside of the center itself. Membership is required to use the full facility.
Teens are welcome to visit the Tech Center once a week or every day we are open. The staff in the center are excited to have you and ready to help you explore your interests and passions.
The maximum capacity of the center is 20 teens. If we reach the maximum, we will need to ask students to come back another time.
