Experience Healthy Living at the Christian Street YMCA

One of the tenants of healthy living is getting active, and that's what the Y is all about! Whatever your fitness preference, you're sure to find something fun to do.

Our membership offers unlimited access to group exercise of all kinds, available for you to attend online and in person. Join in a pickup game during our open court hours or go swimming in our indoor pool facilities, which provide low-impact exercise opportunities for those looking to improve their mobility.

Whenever you come in to get your workout, we'll make sure your family is taken care of, too. Our KidZone area gives our members up to two hours of child care while at our facility for free.

Encourage Youth Development

From childhood through the late teen years, every youth needs guidance and understanding to help them find their way in the world. That's why we offer youth programs in all subjects, from sports to science to music to college and career preparation. Being a Y member has benefits like receiving discounted prices for all our youth programs.

Take on Social Responsibility

Getting involved in the community is as simple as checking out what's happening at the Y and finding the events that speak to you. Our roster of events is constantly updating, so check back frequently and see what new opportunities we have to give back to Philadelphia. Come into our Christian Street center and see firsthand everything you have to gain by joining the YMCA!

No Place for Hate

We partnered with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to ensure the YMCA is inclusive and available for everyone. Our branch has earned No Place for Hate accreditation through the ADL.

The accreditation comes after a year-long initiative to ensure inclusion in all facets of our YMCA. The initiative was made up of events, pledges, celebrations, and daily acts of acceptance and inclusion.

We welcome our neighbors of all races, genders, and abilities at the Y. We pledge to continue to ensure the Y is inclusive, accepting, and a place for all people.
