[Philadelphia, PA] June 25, 2015, – The Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA announces the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors for 2015.

Joining the Association Board are Dr. Stuart Gordon and Holly Isdale. “Both of our newest Board members embody the spirit of community and bring strong leadership, expertise and energy to the table. We are very fortunate to have them by our side as we continue to shape policy and strengthen community in the Philadelphia region,” says John Flynn, President & CEO, Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA.

Dr. Stuart Gordon is a board-certified; Rothman Fellowship-trained Adult Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgeon with twenty five years of clinical experience. Gordon served as the Division Chief of the Hip and Knee Replacement Program at Cooper University Hospital, and will now join the Orthopedic Departments at Phoenixville and Paoli Hospitals.

Dr. Gordon holds degrees from Brown University and Jefferson Medical College. Following his Orthopedic residency at the New York Orthopedic Hospital of Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, he was awarded a Fellowship at the Rothman Institute in Philadelphia specializing in the surgical treatment of the arthritic hip and knee.

Holly Isdale is one of the leading financial advisors in the United States. Over the course of her career, she has become a trusted advisor for several of the country’s wealthiest families and entrepreneurs, advising on their personal and financial affairs, and helping to shape some of the largest IPOs and mergers in history.

A graduate of Cornell University and Boston University School of Law, Holly began her career as a corporate tax attorney but left the active practice of law in 1994 to build and lead the estate and financial planning practices for several top Wall Street firms, including JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers and Bessemer Trust.

In 2010, Holly founded Wealthhaven, a fee-based consulting firm, to provide clients with high level strategic planning, hands-on oversight and conflict-free advice. Representative projects include the creation and operation of private trust companies, restructuring family offices, and developing shareholder agreements among others.
