ENROLL IN SCHOOL AGE AND CHILD CARE AT ROCKY RUN TODAY!

The Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA is the largest provider of Child Care in Pennsylvania!

Child Development Center (CDC)

The Rocky Run YMCA CDC is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania and currently rated STAR 4 by Keystone STARS.  Utilizing the Creative Curriculum and learning through play, the teachers provide experiences focused on developmentally appropriate practices in education and character development. The daily program includes learning centers incorporating reading, writing, math, computers, and science.  In addition to outdoor play, large and small group activities, story and music time, cooking, art, swim lessons (3-5), and sports are incorporated into the weekly lesson. All parents have the unique opportunity to participate in their child’s classroom as the “helping parent” on a regular basis. They see the curriculum develop, watch children interact, and gain a perspective on the work of our teachers. Most importantly, our parents’ presence demonstrates the value of the program and their commitment to lifelong learning. We also have a strong parent committee who are dedicated to improving all programming and meeting the individual needs of all program participants.
