Phoenixville YMCA

Welcome to the Phoenixville YMCA 2018 Summer Camp!

Check out our cool Summer Day Camps at the Phoenixville YMCA!  Phoenixville YMCA Day Camp programs encourage youngsters to participate in group activities which foster creativity, independence, and a sense of teamwork.  Our Camp goal is to help children grow in spirit, mind, and body while enjoying the wonders of the great outdoors.

Enriching all of our programs are the principles of the YMCA Character Development: Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.  Our goal is to help your children grow while enjoying the setting of an outdoor camp. We offer arts & crafts, sports, games, nature, adventure, performing arts, swimming, field trips, special events, story telling, camp songs and many other activities. All activities are centered on a weekly theme.

Financial Assistance:

Financial assistance for camp is made possible through the generous support of contributors to the Annual Campaign.  Financial assistance is given on a first come, first serve basis and is determined by need.  Financial assistance applications are available at the Welcome Center. For more information contact Julie Szerenyi at 484-921-5857.

Electronic Policy:

Campers are not permitted to bring cell phones or electronic devices to camp. We believe that being at camp is an opportunity for your child to experience a world beyond home. This allows children to develop autonomy, independence and a stronger sense of self. It allows them to make new friends, take responsibility for themselves, problem solve and mature a bit. These things cannot be achieved when parents are only a phone call away. In addition, no electronic hand-held game devices will be allowed in camp. We have board games and card games available for campers. Theses games, not hand-held electronic games, allow our campers to socialize, interact with one another and build community within the camp. Thank you for your cooperation!

Here at Camp Phoenix we want to provide campers with the highest quality and safest camp experience possible.  Therefore camp registration will close two weeks before the session begins and no registrations will be accepted within two weeks of a camp week.  This will ensure that we have sufficient staff on hand and adequate supplies available.  Once the camp season  starts we will not accept weekend registrations.
