Haverford Area YMCA-Youth Mental Health First Aid

The Haverford Area YMCA is excited to partner with the National Alliance on Mental Illness of the Main Line to host Youth Mental Health First Aid training June 7th and 8th from 4:00-8:00pm.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.

Registration is required for this FREE event; as space is limited. Participants are required to attend all 8 hours of the course to be eligible for the certification.
